Cast ConcertDirectory Video to Your TV
TV Casting is the process to display the video from your mobile phone (or similar device), to the TV, allowing everyone in the room to comfortably watch the show.
The media player we use on the ConcertDirectory website supports both AirPlay and Chromecast as options to cast to TVs. In order to use either of these casting options, you should open the link on a phone or device which can initiate the casting, and play it from there. In the bottom of the controls, you should see the casting buttons.
The same player is used by all shows, whether it is livestreams or video on demand. As such, if you want to see if it will work for a livestream, you can preview using one of the Preview videos from an existing show, when accessed through a device that supports casting.
Samsung TV Browser
The browser used by Samsung TVs, does not support HLS streaming natively. As such unfortunately playback and streaming of ConcertDirectory videos does not work. Our recommended bypass, if you are unable to cast using Airplay or Chromecast, is to simply play it from a modern browser on a laptop, connected to the TV with HDMI.
